1. Appearance and smell;

Storage method of high temperature tape

1. The tape should be stored in the warehouse to avoid sun and rain; it is forbidden to contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvents, keep it clean and dry, 1m away from the detection device, and the room temperature should be between -15℃ and 40℃.

2. The tape should be placed in a roll, not folded, and should be turned over once a season if it is stored for too long.

3. It is best to use a crane when loading and unloading the conveyor belt, and use a rigging with a crossbeam to lift it steadily to avoid damaging the edge of the belt. Do not load and unload it arbitrarily, causing the roll to loosen and fall off.

4. The type and specification of the tape should be reasonably selected according to the needs and specific conditions of use.

5. Tapes of different varieties, specifications, strengths, and layers of cloth should not be connected together for use.

6. It is best to use hot vulcanization bonding for conveyor belt joints to improve reliability and maintain a high effective strength.

7. The diameter of the conveyor roller of the conveyor and the minimum pulley diameter of the conveyor belt should comply with relevant regulations.

8. Do not let the tape snake or creep, keep the drag roller and vertical roller flexible, and the tension should be moderate.

9. When the conveyor is equipped with baffles and cleaning devices, the wear of the tape should be avoided.

10. Cleanliness is the basic condition for the good operation of the tape. Foreign matter will affect the eccentricity of the belt, tension difference, and even breakage.

11. When the tape is found to be damaged in the early stage during use, the cause should be found and repaired in time to avoid adverse consequences.
